Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is split asunder, 1 the stars are dispersed, 2 when the seas swarm over, 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 the soul shall know what it has done, the former and the latter. 5 O man! What hath made thee careless concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 Despite this, you deny the Day of Judgment, 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 noble, recording, 11 They know what you do. 12 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. 13 and the evil-doers will be in hell 14 roasting therein on the Day of Doom, 15 And will not be able to hide from it. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 Again, what do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19
