Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the heaven is split asunder, 1 and when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the seas are made to flow forth, 3 And the sepulchres are overturned, 4 (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back. 5 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- 6 Who created you then formed your symmetry, then gave you right proportion, 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 Nay! But you deny the Recompense (reward for good deeds and punishment for evil deeds). 9 But verily, over you (are appointed angels in charge of mankind) to watch you. 10 noble, recording, 11 They know what you do. 12 Most surely the righteous are in bliss, 13 whereas, behold, the wicked will indeed be in a blazing fire 14 They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, 15 And will not be absent thence. 16 How can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 17 Again, what could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 18 A day when no soul shall possess aught to succour another soul; that day the Command shall belong unto God. 19
