Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder, 1 And when the stars have fallen and scattered; 2 And when the seas are flowed out, 3 When the graves are overturned, 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O man! what has beguiled you from your Lord, the Gracious one, 6 Who created thee, then moulded thee, then proportioned thee? 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 Rather, you belied the Recompense. 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 Honorable recorders, 11 They know whatever you do. 12 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 roasting therein on the Day of Doom, 15 And thence they shall not be allowed to be absent. 16 And what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 17 Again, what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 18 [It will be] a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to another human being: for on that Day [it will become manifest that] all sovereignty is God's alone. 19
