Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven is split asunder, 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 and when the seas burst beyond their bounds, 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 then everyone will know what he has sent ahead, and what he has left behind. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 Who created you then formed your symmetry, then gave you right proportion, 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 And yet, verily, there are ever-watchful forces over you, 10 The honourable recorders. 11 who know whatever you do. 12 Most surely the righteous are in bliss, 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 roasting therein on the Day of Doom, 15 And will not be removed from it. 16 They will never be able to escape from it. Would that you knew what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again, what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19
