Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the heaven is split asunder, 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 When the oceans begin to flow, 3 And when the graves are laid open, 4 (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back. 5 O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous? 6 who created you, fashioned you and proportioned you, 7 in whatever composition He wanted. 8 No indeed; but you cry lies to the Doom; 9 And indeed there are some guardians over you. 10 Kiraman (honourable) Katibin writing down (your deeds). 11 and these honorable scribes know whatever you do. 12 Indeed, the righteous shall (live) in bliss. 13 And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. 14 They will enter it on the Day of Justice. 15 And will not be removed from it. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 How then can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
