Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven splits open. 1 the stars are dispersed, 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 when the graves are overturned, 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 Who created thee, then fashioned, then proportioned thee? 7 He moulded you into whatever shape He willed. 8 Rather, you belied the Recompense. 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 aware of whatever you do! 12 Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. 13 And lo! the wicked verily will be in hell; 14 roasting in it on the Day of Recompense 15 and then shall never come out of it. 16 And what could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 17 Again, what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 18 It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
