Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder. 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 and when the seas burst beyond their bounds, 3 when the tombs are overthrown, 4 then a soul shall know its works, the former and the latter. 5 O man! What is it that lures you away from your bountiful Sustainer, 6 The One Who created you, then moulded you, then made you proper? 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 noble, writers 11 They know whatsoever ye do. 12 Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. 13 and the evil-doers will be in hell 14 They will burn in it on the Day of Judgement, 15 And they (Al-Fujjar) will not be absent therefrom (i.e. will not go out from the Hell). 16 And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 18 On that day, no soul will be of any benefit to any other soul. On that day, all affairs will be in the hands of God. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
