Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 when the seas are made to burst forth, 3 when the graves are overturned, 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O man! What is it that lures you away from your bountiful Sustainer, 6 who created you, formed you and proportioned you? 7 and set you in whatever form He pleased? 8 By no means! Aye, ye belie the Requital. 9 And yet, verily, there are ever-watchful forces over you, 10 Noble and recording; 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 Behold, [in the life to come] the truly virtuous: will indeed be in bliss, 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 roasting therein on the Day of Doom, 15 and which they shall not [be able to] evade. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 Again, what could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
