Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is cleft asunder, 1 And when the stars have fallen and scattered; 2 And when the oceans are swept away. 3 and when graves are laid open, 4 (Then) a person will know what he has sent forward and (what he has) left behind (of good or bad deeds). 5 O man! what hath beguiled thee concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 The One Who created you, then moulded you, then made you proper? 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 noble recorders, 11 They know what you do. 12 Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. 13 whereas, behold, the wicked will indeed be in a blazing fire 14 They shall enter it on the Day of Recompense 15 And will not be able to hide from it. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
