Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is split asunder, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back. 5 O man, what seduced you from your munificent Lord 6 Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias; 7 and set you in whatever form He pleased? 8 Despite this, you deny the Day of Judgment, 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 noble scribes 11 aware of whatever you do! 12 Surely the pious shall be in bliss, 13 And indeed the sinners are in hell. 14 They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, 15 and from which they will find no escape. 16 They will never be able to escape from it. Would that you knew what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 On that day, no soul will be of any benefit to any other soul. On that day, all affairs will be in the hands of God. 19
