Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is cleft asunder, 1 And when the stars shall be scattered, 2 When the seas are poured forth, 3 And when the graves are laid open, 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O man! what hath beguiled thee concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 Nay! But you deny the Recompense (reward for good deeds and punishment for evil deeds). 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 noble recorders, 11 who know whatever you do. 12 Verily, the Abrar (pious and righteous) will be in delight (Paradise); 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 In which they will enter, and taste its burning flame on the Day of Recompense, 15 and from which they will find no escape. 16 They will never be able to escape from it. Would that you knew what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again: what will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
