Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 And when the oceans are swept away. 3 and when the graves are laid open: 4 A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back. 5 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 In whatever form He willed has He assembled you. 8 No indeed; but you cry lies to the Doom; 9 And indeed there are some guardians over you. 10 noble, writers 11 They know all that you do. 12 Most surely the righteous are in bliss, 13 And lo! the wicked verily will be in hell; 14 They will burn in it on the Day of Judgement, 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 And what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 17 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 18 It is the day when no soul will have power to do the least for a soul, and God's alone will be done. 19
