The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
25 verses, revealed in Mecca after Shattering (Al-Infitaar) before The Romans (Al-Room)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven is split asunder 1 And attentive to her Lord in fear, 2 And when the earth is spread out. 3 And casts forth what is within it and becomes (clean) empty, 4 And it hearkeneth to its Lord, and is duteous. 5 O man, you are striving unto your Lord and you will meet Him. 6 And as for him whose record shall be placed in his right hand, 7 He surely will receive an easy reckoning, 8 and he will return to his family joyfully. 9 But as for he who is given his record behind his back, 10 he will in time pray for utter destruction: 11 but he will enter the blazing flame. 12 He once lived among his family joyfully; 13 Surely he thought that he would never return. 14 Yea indeed! His Sustainer did see all that was in him! 15 So indeed I call to witness the evening twilight, 16 The Night and its Homing; 17 And the moon when it grows full, 18 That you will climb from stage to stage. 19 What then is the matter with them, that they believe not?- 20 And that, when the Qur'an is read unto them, they prostrate not them-selves! ۩ 21 Nay, (on the contrary), those who disbelieve, belie (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and whatever he brought, i.e. this Quran and Islamic Monotheism, etc.). 22 But Allah has full knowledge of what they secrete (in their breasts) 23 So give them good tidings of a painful chastisement, 24 except the righteously striving believers, who will receive a never-ending reward. 25
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
