The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
25 verses, revealed in Mecca after Shattering (Al-Infitaar) before The Romans (Al-Room)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the sky is torn apart, 1 and gives ear to its Lord, and is fitly disposed; 2 And when the earth is stretched forth, 3 and throws out of itself all that it contains 4 obeying its Sustainer, as in truth it must: 5 O mankind, indeed you are laboring toward your Lord with [great] exertion and will meet it. 6 Then, as for him who will be given his Record in his right hand, 7 shall have an easy reckoning 8 and they will return to their people, delighted 9 But as for those whose Book of records will be given behind their backs, 10 he shall call for destruction 11 and roast at the Blaze. 12 Once, he lived joyfully among his family 13 for he never thought that he would have to return [to God]. 14 But yes! Indeed, his Lord was ever of him, Seeing. 15 So I do call to witness the ruddy glow of Sunset; 16 And by the night and whatever it gathers in its darkness; 17 And the Moon in her fullness: 18 That ye shall journey on from plane to plane. 19 What aileth them then, that they believe not, 20 And when the Qur'an is recited to them, they do not prostrate [to Allah]? ۩ 21 Yea those who disbelieve belie. 22 but God knows best whatever they accumulate in their hearts. 23 Therefore, give them the news of a painful punishment. 24 But for those who believe and do good works; for them there shall be a never-ending reward. 25
God the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
