The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the sky, (displaying) the Zodiacal Signs; 1 By the Promised Day! 2 and by the witness and what is witnessed: 3 Accursed be the People of the Ditch! 4 The people of the fuelled blazing fire. 5 while they sat around it, 6 And they were witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy, 8 to whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. God is witness over all things. 9 Surely those who tormented the believing men and the believing women and then did not repent, theirs shall be the chastisement of Hell, and theirs shall be the chastisement of burning. 10 Surely for those who believe and do the right are gardens with rivers running by. That is the greatest success. 11 Stern indeed is your Lord's punishment. 12 Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats. 13 and He is the Forgiving and Loving One. 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 Performer of what He desires. 16 Did the story of the armies reach you? 17 Of the Fir'awn and the Thamud? 18 Nay, but those who disbelieve live in denial 19 And Allah is after them, has them surrounded. 20 Indeed, this is a Glorious Koran, 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22
