The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the sky, (displaying) the Zodiacal Signs; 1 By the Promised Day! 2 by the witness and the witnessed, 3 Perish the fellows of the ditch, 4 with fire abounding in fuel, 5 while they themselves sat around it 6 Witnessing what they had done to the believers! 7 They had naught against them save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Owner of Praise, 8 to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Allah witnesses everything. 9 Surely for those who persecute believers, men and women, and do not repent afterwards, is the punishment of Hell, and the punishment of burning. 10 Those who believe, and do righteous deeds, for them await gardens underneath which rivers flow; that is the great triumph. 11 Stern indeed is your Lord's punishment. 12 It is He who creates all things and causes them to return. 13 and He is the Ever Forgiving, the Most Loving 14 Owner of the Throne, the Exalted. 15 The great doer of what He will. 16 Hast thou received the story of the hosts, 17 Of Pharaoh and (the tribe of) Thamud? 18 But those who disbelieve are engaged in denial. 19 But Allah doth encompass them from behind! 20 What is revealed to you is certainly a glorious Quran 21 in a Guarded Tablet. 22
