The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the heaven with its impregnable castles; 1 And by the Day promised, 2 By one that witnesses, and the subject of the witness;- 3 may the people be condemned those who tortured (the believers) in ditches 4 Of the fuel-fed fire, 5 when they were seated over it 6 to watch what they were doing to the believers, 7 Against these they had no grudge except that they believed in Allah, the Most Mighty, the Most Praiseworthy, 8 [and] to whom the dominion of the heavens and the earth belongs. But God is witness unto everything! 9 Those who persecute the believing men and believing women, and then do not repent, will surely suffer the punishment of Hell, and the torment of burning. 10 But those who believe and do good deeds shall be rewarded with gardens watered by flowing rivers. That is the supreme triumph. 11 Stern indeed is your Lord's punishment. 12 Lo! He it is Who produceth, then reproduceth, 13 and He is the Forgiving and Loving One. 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 The Doer of whatever He wants. 16 Have you not heard about the stories of the armies 17 Of Pharaoh and the Thamud? 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 And Allah encompasses them on every side. 20 Indeed, this is a Glorious Koran, 21 in a Guarded Tablet. 22
