The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the heavens with constellations, 1 And [by] the promised Day 2 By the witness and the witnessed! 3 Cursed were the people of the ditch (the story of the Boy and the King). 4 the makers of the fuel-stoked fire! 5 when they were seated over it 6 and were witnessing what they did to the believers. 7 The only reason for which they tormented the believers was the latter's belief in God, the Majestic, and Praiseworthy. 8 Whose kingdom spreads over the heavens and the earth. God is witness over everything. 9 Those who persecute the believing men and believing women, and then do not repent, will surely suffer the punishment of Hell, and the torment of burning. 10 As for those who believed and acted righteously, theirs shall be Gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great triumph. 11 Lo! the punishment of thy Lord is stern. 12 It is He Who creates from the very beginning, and He can restore (life). 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate, 14 The Lord of the glorious Throne, 15 The Doer of whatever He wants. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 of the Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 In fact the disbelievers are in denial. 19 However, God encompassed their activities. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Koran, 21 that exists in a well-guarded tablet. 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
