The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the heaven of the constellations! 1 And by oath of the Promised Day. 2 By the witness and the witnessed! 3 slain were the Men of the Pit, 4 Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel, 5 while they sat around it, 6 And they witnessed (all) that they were doing against the Believers. 7 Against these they had no grudge except that they believed in Allah, the Most Mighty, the Most Praiseworthy, 8 Him to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness to all things. 9 Verily, those who put into trial the believing men and believing women (by torturing them and burning them), and then do not turn in repentance, (to Allah), will have the torment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the burning Fire. 10 As for the righteously striving believers, they will live in Paradise wherein streams flow. This is the greatest triumph. 11 Verily, (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the Grip (Punishment) of your Lord is severe. 12 It is verily He who initiates and repeats. 13 And He is the Forgiving, and the Loving. 14 Lord of the Arsh, the Glorious, 15 Executor of His own will. 16 Did the story of the armies reach you? 17 Of Pharaoh and (the tribe of) Thamud? 18 In fact the disbelievers are in denial. 19 and God is behind them, encompassing. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Qur'an. 21 in a Guarded Tablet. 22
Almighty Allah's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
