The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the heaven of the constellations! 1 by the promised day, 2 by the witness and the witnessed, 3 Cursed were the people of the ditch (the story of the Boy and the King). 4 Full of fire fed by faggots, 5 They sat by it 6 And they themselves are witnesses to what they were doing to the Muslims! 7 And they ill-treated them for no other reason than that they believed in Allah, Exalted in Power, Worthy of all Praise!- 8 To Him only belongs the kingship of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness over all things. 9 Indeed those who troubled the Muslim men and Muslim women, and then did not repent – for them is the punishment of hell, and for them is the punishment of fire. 10 Lo! those who believe and do good works, theirs will be Gardens underneath which rivers flow. That is the Great Success. 11 The grip of your Lord is severe indeed! 12 Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats. 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 Lord of the Throne, the All-glorious, 15 Doer of whatsoever He intendeth. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 Pharaoh and Thamood? 18 Nay, but the unbelievers still cry lies, 19 But God surrounds them from all sides. 20 But this is an honored Qur'an 21 In a guarded tablet. 22
