The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
I swear by the heaven and the comer by night; 1 Do you know what al-tariq is? 2 The very brightly shining star! 3 No human soul but hath a guardian over it. 4 So man must consider from what he has been created. 5 He was created from ejaculated water 6 That is issued from between the backs and the ribs. 7 Verily, (Allah) is Able to bring him back (to life)! 8 on the Day when consciences are examined, 9 Then will (man) have no power, nor any helper. 10 By the rotating heavens 11 And by the earth which splitteth, 12 this (Qur'an) is surely a decisive Word, 13 and it is certainly not a jest. 14 Indeed the disbelievers carry out their evil schemes. 15 but I too plan against them. 16 Therefore grant a delay to the Unbelievers: Give respite to them gently (for awhile). 17
Almighty God's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
