The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By heaven and the night-star! 1 And what will explain to thee what the Night-Visitant is?- 2 - The piercing Star! 3 No soul is there but hath over it a watcher. 4 So man must consider from what he has been created. 5 He has been created from an ejected drop of fluid 6 Issuing from (the pelvis) between the backbone and the ribs. 7 Surely (Allah) is able to bring him back (to life)! 8 The Day when all the secrets (deeds, prayers, fasting, etc.) will be examined (as to their truth). 9 and he shall have no strength, no helper. 10 By the rotating heavens 11 and by the earth bursting with vegetation; 12 Most surely it is a decisive word, 13 it is no merriment. 14 They (disbelievers) plot every evil plan, 15 and I too am devising a guile. 16 So respite the unbelievers; delay with them awhile. 17
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Comet (Al-Taareq). Sent down in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
