Al-Taareq
The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the sky, and by the nightly comer! 1 Do you know what al-tariq is? 2 (It is) the piercing star. 3 [for] no human being has ever been left unguarded. 4 So let man see from what he is created! 5 He is created of water pouring forth, 6 Coming from between the back and the ribs. 7 Verily He is Able to restore him, 8 On the day when all secrets will be made public, 9 he will have no power, nor anyone to help him. 10 By the sky with its returning rain, 11 by the earth cracking open with new growth. 12 this (Qur'an) is surely a decisive Word, 13 And it is not a frivolity. 14 Indeed, they are planning a plan, 15 And I plot a plot (against them). 16 So grant the unbelievers a respite: let them alone for a while. 17
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
