The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the heaven, and At-Tariq (the night-comer, i.e. the bright star); 1 How will you comprehend what the night star is? 2 (It is) the Star of piercing brightness;- 3 [for] no human being has ever been left unguarded. 4 LET MAN, then, observe out of what he has been created: 5 He is created of water pouring forth, 6 Proceeding from between the back-bone and the ribs, 7 Surely (Allah) is able to bring him back (to life)! 8 The day all secrets are examined 9 Then man will have no power or any helper. 10 By the sky which returns [rain] 11 And by oath of the earth which flourishes with it. 12 Behold this is the Word that distinguishes (Good from Evil): 13 it is no merriment. 14 Indeed the disbelievers carry out their evil schemes. 15 and so am I: 16 So respite the unbelievers; delay with them awhile. 17
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Comet (Al-Taareq). Sent down in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)

ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
