The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the heaven, and the night-visitor, 1 what do you know what the night-visitor is? 2 The star of piercing brightness; 3 [for] no human being has ever been left unguarded. 4 So let man consider of what he was created. 5 he has been created out of a seminal fluid 6 that issues from between the loins and the ribs. 7 God has all power to resurrect him. 8 The Day when secrets will be put on trial, 9 and he shall have no strength, no helper. 10 By the sky with its returning rain, 11 and the earth, bursting forth with plants! 12 Indeed the Qur’an is a decisive Word. 13 and is no idle tale. 14 Indeed, they are planning a plan, 15 and so am I: 16 So respite thou the infidels - respite them gently, 17
Almighty God's Truth.
