The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
