The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
