The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
