The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
