The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
