The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
