The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 Who determines and directs, 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
