The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
