The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
