Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
