Al-A'alaa

The All High (Al-A'alaa)

19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who created and proportioned 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
