The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
