The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
