The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
