The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
