The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 who determined and guided, 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 He who fears will mind, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
