Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
