Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
