The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
