The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
Almighty God's Truth.
