The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 He who fears will mind, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
