The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
