The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
