The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
