The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
